3rd Prize: A “mouth” writing pen

“mouth” writing pen for armless people is a design that can complete the entire process of using the pen (including changing the refill) with just the mouth.The target users of this design are people without arms and people with cerebral palsy, who often use their mouths instead of their hands to write, and existing pens are not suitable for them. Therefore, this design is committed to enabling these people to write as comfortably as normal people, and to be able to complete the entire process of using the pen simply and independently.First,this design realizes the function of replacing the pen refill only with the mouth through the design of the refill and the baffle; secondly,the contact formbetween this group of people and the pen is reconstructed with reference to the baby pacifier, solving the problems of the pen shaking easily during the writing process and saliva dripping onto the book; finally, a pen cap structure that can be flexibly switchedbetween the base and the pen cap is designed.
